The Florida Transit Maintenance Consortium was established to provide direction to the Florida public transit community and allow for communication among transit personnel. Coordinated through Lively Technical College and overseen by the Florida Department of Transportation, the consortium helps to stay abreast of the changing needs of Florida’s public transit. It is open to all transit-related properties and assists in determining the most effective training needs for those involved in the industry. Through the consortium, members have access to a wealth of information, resources, and guidance to ensure the safety and reliability of public transportation in Florida.
